Hidden Kingdom: The Elven Citadel, Book 2

The Second Great War has begun. Queen Hellicus and her army have begun marching south. The big difference between this war and the first Great War is the amount of magic her army is wielding. In the world of Anon magic was left behind by the elves. Magic weapon are rare and every kingdom uses them sparingly. However, this is not the case for Queen Hellicus in this war. Her army are using magic in every battle. Queen Sara Bellfourth has found out that a magic Elven Citadel is the source of magic.
Sara launched a daring and secret mission to destroy the citadel. This mission takes on extra importance when her husband was captured by Queen Hellicus’s army while finding the magic that will destroy the citadel. She lead a squad of soldiers, not all of which are from her army.

The first problem she faced was how to cross the dangerous Dragon Back Mountains. She soon found out that the only person that knew the way was a mysterious Woodsman that roams the woods. She reluctantly hires the man but has reservations about him.

Soon her plan and world is turned upside down. She discovers that Queen Hellicus is aware of her secret mission and that her guide was once her sworn enemy. He has vowed to help with the mission and knows another way to the Citadel. Can she trust this man? Does she have a choice? The fate of the mission, the war and her husband now lie in the hands of the Woodsman.
