In a utopian future, can a white man find justice?
100 years after the Great Collapse of the United States, a new society is born. A society where personal possessions and money are gone and the government provides you will all your needs. Everyone is treated equally except for white men, who, with their greed, were blamed for the Great Collapse. White men, or Blankos as they have come to be known, are raised away from society and are forced to work to pay back society for their crimes.
Maria Rodriguez had a perfect life. She was in charge of surgery at her hospital. She was the manager of her apartment complex. And she lived in a society where everyone's needs were provided. Everyone was guaranteed a job, housing, health care, food, clothes, all your needs. She even managed to get a Blanko, Calvin, to work on her apartment complex to help with repairs. She never counted on falling in love with the man but she did. Although this was not a crime, it was severely frowned upon by society. Her life is perfect until Calvin is accused of committing a crime, a crime that carries the death penalty. Soon, her world begins to unravel as she begins to see flaws in the perfect society.
