Although Pearl had already learned that her father was the emperor, the most hated emperor in human history, she was not prepared for what her mom told her next. Pearl had expected her life to be just a normal, uneventful life until her mother told her about her legacy. When her mom took ill, Pearl dropped from university to take care of her. She then learned of her mother's history, her part in the revolt against the emperor and her unintentional legacy. Pearl realized that she knew very little about her own mother. However, when her mother made, as her dying request, to undo her legacy, Pearl was in disbelief. It would require her to go up against the galactic government (called the People's Government). It was too much to ask. After her mother's death, she decided that she would not pursue her mother's last wish, how could she, a simple 28 year old overthrow the galactic government. Instead, Pearl decided to focus on her life. This is until one day, when the galactic government crossed a line, sending Pearl on a path to try to overthrow them. She was not sure how she would overthrow the government, but if she was successful, what would she put in its place?
